JAMES LAUBE: Brimming with layers of rich, juicy dark berry, this offers plum, wild berry, raspberry and boysenberry flavors, featuring touches of black licorice, anise and subtle earth. Delivers firm, fine-grained tannins, ending with a dash of mocha. Drink now.
ROBERT PARKER: The 2013 Pinot Noir from the Santa Rita Hills called Architects & Saboteurs has a youthful, dense ruby/purple color and gorgeous sassafras, blackberry and cassis. This terrific Pinot Noir is unctuously textured, thick, juicy and loaded with acids that give it vibrancy. This wine is full-bodied and long and should be drunk over the next 5-7 years.
