During ancient times, the wren was considered a messenger from the gods or "oracle." The ancients read the chirps or whispers of the wren and interpreted them as advice. These messages often suspiciously resulted in urgent runs to the store for bird seed. This wine whispers "open me now" with a gorgeous big black cherry nose followed by Irish tea, tobacco leaf and cherry cola. Olallieberry, vanilla and clove play out on the finish. It's a lot to chirp about. Our biodynamic farmed hillside vineyard created some of the healthiest grape clusters we've seen yet. Even the oracle let out a muffled scream.
