2015 "Flight Risk" Pinot Noir SOLD OUT

Willamette Valley
96pts Jeb Dunnuck Regional Report "California: Exuberant, Powerful 2015's"  We're not gonna lie, there's nothing typical or restrained about this Oregon Pinot at all. We're talking deep, inky, ruby slipper red color along with aromatics of clove and floral oil right out of the bottle. We've acquired terroir driven hillside Pommard clusters from the Chehalem Mountain AVA and vinified them in true Wren Hop style. How cool is that? The lower temps and silt loam soils force the vines to develop deep root systems and push longer hang time. That means big flavor development. A detailed sort and 10 day cold soak extracted blue fruit, chocolate and allspice. Look for crushed blueberry, hibiscus and sassafras notes. 14 months in new french oak brings toasted spice and a touch of vanilla. This is one unique, energetic wine with some beautiful rich, juicy flavors. Your bottles will certainly be a potential flight risk. Lock 'em up.
